I'm not sure if this fit into the category, but during "the pandemic" if you got a cough or sniffle, PCR pos or neg, they told you to stay home 10 days (Paid). Suddenly, everyone had Covid. Once that stopped, Covid went away or no one mentioned they had cold symptoms...(my observations at a hospital).
